Alice F. Klein

Alice F. Klein, 92 of 10785 Troy Center Road, Titusville died at 9:05 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2009 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. She was born in Basel Switzerland on February 3, 1917 a daughter of Wilhelm and Anna Wchwarz Frick . She was a U. S. Citizen. She was married to Rudolph Klein and he died in 1971. Mrs. Klein was very passionate about dogs and she showed dogs at different events. She was also well known for her flower gardens. Surviving are her daughter-in-law Diane M. Klein, Cooperstown; two grandsons, Stanley R. Klein and his wife Emily, Pascoag, R. I.; Jerome A. Klein and his wife Julie, Raymond, OH; four great-grandchildren, Jose and Carlos Klein, Pascoag, R.I.; Lily and Samuel Klein, Raymond, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,a son , a well known orthopedic surgeon at the Franklin and Oil City Hospitals, Dr. Rolf A. Klein; and a sister, Hanna Klein. There will be a private family visitation. A funeral service will be conducted in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Richard A. Reed, Deacon at St. Patrick?s Church in Franklin officiating. Interment will be made at St. Hippolites Cemetery at Frenchtown. The family suggests that donations be made to the Venango County Humane Society, PO Box 1045, Oil City, PA 16301.
