Anna F. Ferrere Age 82 of Boyers Road Forestville, PA passed into eternal life at 3:10 P.M. January 7, 2012 at Life Care of Pittsburgh in Belleview, PA.
She was born in Grove City, PA to Vincenzo J. Chelli and Nunzia (Isacco)Chelli on January 27, 1929
She Graduated from Harrisville High School� Harrisville, PA
She was a homemaker
She was a life member of St. Anthony R.C. Church� Forestville, PA� She was a devote Catholic.
She was a charter member of Conferternity of Christian Mothers of the church, She had a Special devotion to the blessed Mother and prayed the rosary daily. Throughout her life She devoted many hours serving her church that she loved. She enjoyed playing bingo,she was a loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. She was an avid canner,
canning items from her garden. She also spent time cooking and baking for her family.She will be remembered for her humble and caring ways and always thinking of others before herself. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She was called "MeMe"�by many people. Anna lived each day with unconditional love and devotion to her family. Her love will remain in the hearts of her family forever.
She was married to Regis R. Ferrere on October 1, 1949 at St. Anthony Church in Forestville, PA They celebrated 60 years of marriage. He died on October 3, 2009.
Surviving are seven children:Regis M. Ferrere-Forestville, PA, Joyce A. Flinner and her husband DuWayne-Prospect, PA
Karen M. Schmidt and her husband David-Spring, TX, Paula K. Maloney and her husband Roy-Greenville, PA, Ronald D. Ferrere-Butler, PA, Rita L. Ferrere-Forestville, PA and Diane C. Merkle and her husband Gregory-Grove City, PA four grandchildren,Kristen Kindya, Sara Merkle, Hannah Schmidt and Gina Maloney.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents, her husband and 2 sisters and 6 brothers. She was the last surviving of nine children.
SERVICE:� A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Anthony R.C. Church,Forestville, PA, at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday January 11, 2012 with Father Kevin G. Poecking officiating.
Friends will be received at Jamison Funeral Home 117 N. Main St. Harrisville, PA On Tuesday January 10, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
Burial in St. Anthony Cemetery� Harrisville, PA
