Anna L. Bruner Baker, 72 of Rocky Grove, died at 12:45 A.M. Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Caring Place.
Born January 7, 1938 in Franklin she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel D. Bruner.
A graduate of Rocky Grove High School, she was an X Ray Technician at the former Franklin Hospital and also a clerical supervisor at Penn Dot.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Franklin Women?s Club and was also active in politics.
She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her three cats.
She was married on January 13, 1961 to George Thomas Baker, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2004.
She is survived by a sister; Joan E. Hayen and her husband Henry of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two nephews, Brian Hayen and his wife Julie and their daughter Rebecca, and Brad Hayen and his wife Kim and their three children; Elise, Parker and Charlotte. Also a sister in law, Susan Lewis and her husband Leland of the Villages, FL and two nieces; Christy and Hollie.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Huff Chapel Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Harry, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, Franklin officiating.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
