Carol L. Snyder

Carol L. Snyder, 88, of Franklin, passed away at 6:30 A.M. Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Titusville Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Born in Franklin on February 20, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Ward C. and Mable L. Brown Sibley. 

She was a 1954 graduate of Franklin High School. 

Carol loved her family more than anything in the world. Over the years she had several different jobs; however, her favorite was making people happy at Polly’s Dairy Isle. 

She didn’t like being told what to do and always did what she wanted. She loved to go out to eat with family and friends, shop and have a drink every now and then. Carol always kept everyone on their toes. She loved with her whole heart. 

Surviving is her brother, Don Sibley and his wife Pat; two children, Barbara Snyder McCool and her husband Terry and Stephen Snyder and his wife Nancy; stepdaughter, Kari Snyder Mckee and her husband Ron; four grandchildren, Jill Hummel Graham, Tece Hummel Behl, Jennifer Johnson and Ashley Cherry; seven great grandchildren, Tara Graham, Trevor Graham, Brooke Behl, Thomas Behl, Aubrey Cherry, Myles Cherry and Emma Johnson; one great great grandchild, Brier Graham; a step grandson, Ty McKee; a brother in law, David Snyder and his wife Audrey; a sister in law, Karen Greenlee and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary P. Snyder, three sisters, June Sibley Smith, Barbara Sibley Riddle and Shirley Sibley Kirkland and two brothers, Ward Sibley and Gary Sibley. 

The family will announce a celebration of life at a later date.
