Christene G. Rollins

Christene G. Rollins, 88, died at 777 Pone Lane died at 8:26 a.m. Friday, December 04, 2009, she was formerly of Sandy Lake, PA.
She was born August 22, 1921, a daughter of Henry and Marian Gray Buck.
She attended schools in Hanover and West Lebanon, NH. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1947.
Mrs. Rollins was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and helping her husband with his woodworking projects.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she had served on several committees and in the Temple Choir. She also belonged to the Methodist Women and held several offices. She had been a Volunteer at the Franklin Hospital and Meals on Wheels. While living in Sandy Lake she was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sandy Lake Fire and Rescue Co.
She married Lester G. Rollins July 11, 1942 in Las Vegas and he died September 5, 2007. She is survived by a daughter Patricia Lynn and her husband Larry Plamondon of Delton Michigan and a daughter Linda Bobrick of Franklin and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry R. Buck Jr. and James G. Buck.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 noon.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 12 noon with Rev. Richard Harry pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be made in the Riverside Cemetery, Alton, New Hampshire.
