Delores Doyle 87 formerly of 674 Grant St. Lot 14 died at 1:17 A.M. Wednesday January 19, 2011 at Sugarcreek Station.
Born in McKeesport, PA on January 29, 1923 she was a daughter of the late Earl and Elsie Plummer Crawford.
A 1941 graduate of Franklin High School, she worked for 16 years at Polk Elementary School and Franklin High School in the cafeteria retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin.
Delores enjoyed bridge, sewing, quilting, bowling, and needlework. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was married on November 26, 1942 to Jack Doyle Sr. who preceded her in death on January 9, 2005.
Surviving are four sons, Jack Doyle Jr. and his wife Darlene of Franklin, Fred Doyle and his wife Yvonne of Polk, Tim Doyle and his wife Brenda of Clarks Mills, and Randy Doyle and his wife Barbara of Utica. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Delores was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Crawford Jr., a sister Charlotte Hall, a grandson Fred Doyle, and a granddaughter Randi Doyle.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Huff Chapel Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin with the Rev. Richard Harry, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Old Sandy Cemetery.
