Diane M. Craft Eckel

Diane M. Craft Eckel, 76 of Franklin, passed away Thursday evening, October 3, 2024 surrounded by her family at the Collins House.

Born in Oil City on October 7, 1947 she was the daughter of the late Everett C. and Mable Marie Young Craft.

Diane was a 1965 graduate of Cranberry High School 

She worked for a number of years as manager at the former Franklin Credit Union. 

Diane was a devoted mother and grandmother. 

She was married to Richard A. Eckel and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2022.

Surviving are two siblings, Donna Cornelius and her husband John of Franklin and Joyce Hughes and her husband Michael of Franklin; daughter-in-law Claudia Teribery, mother of Diane's two grandchildren, Cade Everett Teribery and Casey Catherine Teribery; and a brother in law, William Thompson.

Additionally surviving are five nieces Reagan Fair, Renee Grille, Jessica Confer, Jayme Cooper and Jackie Knight a nephew Michael Hughes, two great nephews and four great nieces.

In addition to her parents and husband, Diane was preceded in death by her son Chad Everett Teribery, three brothers, Larry E. Craft, Kenneth Jack Craft and Joseph E. Craft and a sister Linda Thompson. 

There will be no visitation. A private memorial service will be held for the family.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.

Interment will be made at Venus Cemetery.
