Donald L. "Duck" Hagan

Donald L. "Duck" Hagan, 73 of Oil City, passed away on Thursday December 10, 2015 at his residence.

Duck was born October 30, 1942 in Erie to Leroy C. and Margaret E. Snyder Hagan.

Don was employed by Lakeport News until 2012. He was an avid Steelers fan and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

On March 28, 1965, he married the former Ruthann Range and she preceded him in death on October 25, 2007.

Surviving are his children, Jody Hagan and his wife Sheila of Seneca, Donald Hagan of Somerset; Cynthia Ace and her husband Terry of Franklin.

Additionally surviving are his grandchildren, Josephine, Kassondra, Vincent and Chandler Hagan, Terry Ace, Curtis Hagan and his wife Courtney and Kyle Hagan and his Fiancé' Jen; 8 great-grandchildren; his adopted daughter, Ann M. Haylett and adopted grandson Frank Adams of Franklin and adopted granddaughter, Mary Ann and Nick Canter of Maryland and many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by a brother, Bud Hagan and his wife Ginnie of Girard; three sisters, Sandy Swiderski and her husband John of Erie, Shirley Lary of Oil City and Debbie Wige of KY; former daughter in-law Terri Hagan and former son-in-law Dan Jewell.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Barry, Jack and Leroy Hagan.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 11:00 AM - 2:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Leichliter, Pastor of the First Church of God in Franklin, officiating.

Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery.
