Donna L. Martin

Donna L. Martin 82 of 118 Hillcrest Ave. Polk died at 3:25 A.M. Wednesday November 9, 2011 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.



Born July 30, 1929 in Reno she was the daughter of the late George M. and Mildred V. Say Disque.



She was of Methodist Faith and was a member of the Polk Quilters.

Donna enjoyed reading, puzzles, and crossword puzzles.



She first married Kenneth Sutley and he preceded her in death. On April 30, 1965 she married Richard E. Martin and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2004.



Surviving are three children; Eugenia Perry and her husband Rex of Shippenville, Cheryl McMurdy and her husband Paul of Lancaster, PA and Thomas Sutley of Monterey, CA; one sister, Arlowene ?Muggs? Weaver and her husband Sam of Franklin; five grandchildren, Jason Perry and his wife Jennifer of Toms Brook, VA, Daniel Perry of Shippenville, Melissa Shaffer and her husband Marc of Landisville, PA, Kenneth McMurdy and his wife Lara of Mahwah NJ, and Keith McMurdy and his wife Michele of New York, NY; four great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.



In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister Marilyn Hawke, an infant sister, and a nephew Tim Sisko.



Family and friends welcome 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Friday at the Huff Chapel Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin and from 10-11 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home where services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Lea A. Guiney, Pastor of Polk United Methodist Church Officiating.



Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.



Memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
