Dorothy A. Blakley

Dorothy A. Blakley, 85, of Grove City died Thursday afternoon June 5, 2014 at the Trinity living Center.

A daughter of the late Arthur and Isabel A. Brown Shaw she was born in Grove City on January 17, 1929. She was a 1946 graduate of Grove City High School.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and following NASCAR. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 220 in Grove City.

On December 22, 1948 she married Dale L. Blakley; he died January 26, 2008

Surviving are a son Edward R. Blakley of Grove City, a daughter Deborah Walochik and her husband John of Grove City, two grandsons Russell Lee Montgomery and Brian Wayne Montgomery; and two great grandchildren Lee J. Montgomery and Liberty Rae Montgomery. Also surviving are three sisters Hilda Butch, Lucille Covert and her husband Bud all of Grove City and Norma Moyer and her husband Leroy of Jamestown; and her brother Arthur L. Shaw of Grove City. She will be sadly missed by her dog, Molly.

Friends will be received in the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville from 4-7 p.m. Monday.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Jim Leuenberger, interim pastor at Tower Presbyterian Church officiating.
