Dorothy J. Waddell

Dorothy J. Waddell, 75 of Cochranton, formerly of Erie, died at 9:17 P.M. Thursday, November 15, 2012 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born April 1, 1937 in Grove City, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Helen M. Schohn Coleman.

She graduated from Academy High School in Erie.

She worked at Scott?s Department Store in Erie.

Dorothy was married on August 6, 1955 to John C. Waddell and spent 57 wonderful years together and he survives.

They were blessed with five children; John W. Waddell and his wife Teresa of Cranesville, PA, Steven D. Waddell and his wife Linda of Wattsburg, PA, Daniel E. Waddell and his wife Laura of Edinboro, PA, David J. Waddell and his wife Barbara of Wichita Falls, TX, and Linda Hines and her husband Bill of Cochranton, PA.

Also surviving are two brothers; Ronald Coleman and his wife Marilyn, George(Bud) Coleman and a sister Betty Grise all of Erie; 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, a brother James Coleman and a sister Ruth Gomersall .

There will be no visitation or services.
