Dorothy L. Ramp

Dorothy L. Ramp, 84 of Franklin passed away Wednesday evening November 25, 2015 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca following a brief illness.

Born March 1, 1931 in Franklin she was a daughter of the late Calvin C. and Elsie B. VanZandt Lynn.

In her earlier years, Dorothy enjoyed Crocheting and crafting. Her and her late husband were avid campers and were members of the National Campers and Hikers Association and the Masonic Camping Club.

Dorothy was formerly active in the Masonic Auxiliary in Oil City.

More recently, she enjoyed playing cards in her card club.

On June 11, 1949 she married Ernest W. Ramp and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2000.

Surviving is her daughter; Dianna Kelly and her husband Patrick of Marana, AZ; a son, Ernest C. Ramp of Albuquerque, NM; a sister Virginia Moore of Pittsburgh; a grandson, Owen J. Kelly of Tucson, AZ and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Jane E. Langford and two brothers in law.

There will be no service or visitation.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.

Interment will be made at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
