Drusilla A. "Dolly" Mccool

Drusilla A. "Dolly" McCool, 89 of Grove City, formerly of Harrisville, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 26, 2014 at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

Born October 18, 1924 in Bellevue, Allegheny County, She the daughter of the late E. Eugene and Beatrice Jones Coffin.

She was a graduate of the former Harrisville High School.

Mrs. McCool worked for over 30 years as an administrative clerk for the former Bashline Memorial Hospital Association.

She enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, reading and was an avid bingo player. She also loved all sports, especially racing and football.

Dolly was a member of the American Legion Post 852, Ladies Auxiliary in Harrisville.

On May 24, 1943, she married John L. McCool Sr. and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, John L. "Larry" McCool and his wife Bonnie of Grove City and Gary E. McCool of Harrisville; seven grandchildren, Michael, Kris, Christina, Jonathan, Susan, Sharon and Mike; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith B. Scialabba.

Family and friends welcome Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M at Jamison Funeral Home Inc. 117 N. Main St. Harrisville.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Prairie Cemetery.
