Elmer Z. Kaster, 66 an Oil City native and Polk Center resident died at 10:10 A.M. on Saturday September 21, 2013 at Polk Center.
Born July 23, 1947 in Oil City, he was the son of the late Elmer William and Dolly Anna George Kaster.
Mr. Kaster was a well-known resident at Polk Center. He always knew what he wanted and what he didn?t want. He was very focused.
He was well known for never wanting to wear his shoes.
He loved music and enjoyed time spent with his friends and caregivers at Polk Center.
Surviving is a sister; Mary Rhoda Motter of Oil City; a brother, Larry George Kaster of Knox; two nephews, Andrew Thomas Motter of Oil City and Daniel Thomas Motter of Liverpool, Nova Scotia Canada; a great-nephew Wyatt and a great niece Grace.
The family would like to thank the staff at Polk Center for the excellent care given to Elmer which helped him enjoy his life every day.
Family and friends welcome Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. ? 11:00 A.M. at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Interment will be made at Lamey Cemetery.
