F. Arlene Bell, 87, of Grove City died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Orchard Manor. A daughter of Derwood H. and Linnie J. Hockenberry Bell she was born in Forestville on April 18, 1926.��She was a 1945 graduate of Slippery Rock High School. Miss Bell retired in 1988 from Grove City College after 19 years of service in the housekeeping department..��Previously she had worked in housekeeping at the Penn Grove Hotel.��She had also worked at Ideal Bakery for a time. She was a former member of the Branchton United Methodist Church.��Arlene was an avid reader and collected salt & pepper shakers along with piano music boxes. Surviving are three sisters��Isabelle Grossman of Harrisville, Ruth Relfe of Deland, FL, and Donna Kelly of Franklin; a brother Ronald Bell and his wife Lorraine of Youngsville and several generations of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters; her twin, P. Irene Powell, M. Helen Wigton, Grace Louise Dillaman, and Virginia Mae Stockwell and a brother Bill Bell. Friends will be received in the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville from 1-3 p.m. Friday.��Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard S. Morse, pastor of visitation at Grace United Methodist Church in Grove City, officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Cemetery.
