Hazel M. Barnes, 79, of 562 Davison Road, Titusville died at 3:52 a.m. Tuesday September 11, 2012 at the Presbyterian Home, Oil City.
Mrs. Barnes had worked as a waitress for several restaurants including the Franklin Elks, Villa Italia, and the Holiday Inn. For a time she had worked at Venango Manor and most recently had been a greeter at Wal- Mart both in Cranberry and later in Titusville.
She enjoyed crocheting, baking, and playing cards and bingo.
She was married on June 24, 1959 to Herman J. Barnes Jr., who survives along with two daughters Carol Walker of Gibsonville, NC and Sandra Grzasko and her husband Stan of Oil City; three sons Charles Barnes and his wife Pam of Oil City, Robert Barnes and his wife Cindy of Schenectady, NY, and Douglas Barnes and his wife Paula of Burlington, NC; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several brothers and sisters.
A memorial services for family and invited friends will be held at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
