Heather L. Cuckler

Heather L. Cuckler, 64 of Harrisville, passed away at 6:44 P.M. Sunday May 31, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 3, 1951 in Massena, NY, she was the daughter of the Robert C. and Frieda N. Flanders Lycette.

She attended Winchester Thurston School in Pittsburgh and then graduated from Hiram College with a degree in Art History.

Over the years, Heather worked at various stores including TJ Maxx in the cash office.

Heather was a very gifted artist who enjoyed many different mediums. She also enjoyed gardening and was a former member of the Penn Hills Gardening Club. She was instrumental in helping the club win a state and nation championship.

On Sept 16 1979, she married Roger J. Cuckler and he survives.

Also surviving is a son; Justin R. Cuckler of Harrisville; a daughter, Lara A. Elliott of New Castle; and one grandson, Hunter R. Elliott.

There will be no visitation.

Interment will be made at Park Cemetery in Pine Grove, WV.
