Helen Vivian Primosic passed into the presence of her Lord on June 4, 2015 in Erie, Pa. She was born in Altoona, PA, on July 2, 1918. She grew up in Bellwood, PA. She was married to John Primosic on July 27, 1940 until his death in 1992. They had 52 wonderful years of marriage. John was a teacher at Franklin High School for almost 40 years.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother known to the children as "Nanny". Helen is survived by her daughter, Bonny Renninger of Erie, PA, and her son, Don Primosic and his wife, Connie, of Austin, TX. Her grandchildren are Scott Renninger of Nashville, TN; Leigh Hennessy and her husband, Sean, of Webster, NY; Laura Hoke and her husband, Paul, and Lisa Williams and her husband, Brad, all of Austin, TX. Her great grandchildren are Cullen, Rowan and Camden Hennessy, all of Webster, NY, and Wade and Megan Williams and Logan Hoke, all of Austin, Tx.
Helen graduated from Bellwood High School and the Altoona Business College. She was a member of the Franklin's First United Methodist Church for over 50 years, an active member of the Franklin Civic League of Women and volunteer with the Franklin Hospital and Library. Helen loved flowers, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and reading.
A small grave side memorial service will be held at the Franklin Cemetery in the future. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Franklin Public Library, 421 12th Street, Franklin PA 16323.
