He was born on July 23, 1929 in Cherry Twp. Butler County to John H. Grossman, Sr. And Mary (Hockenberry)Grossman.
He was an elevator mechanic, working out of local union #45 of Youngstown, OH, Retiring in 1986 with 33 years of service.
He was a hunter, fisherman, he enjoyed yard sales, enjoyed tinkering with small Gas engines and selling them, he also had woodworking as a hobby.
He was married on November 18, 1949 in Harrisville, PA to A. Isabelle (Bell)Grossman.
Surviving is his wife, Isabelle Grossman-at the residence one Daughter: Lisa E. Weaver and her husband Boe-Stoneboro, PA, four Sons: Humes A. Grossman, Jr-Ruston, LA, Richard C. Grossman and his wife Sandra-Harrisville, PA
Timothy L. Grossman and his wife Carla-Waynesburg, OH and Brian K. Grossman and his wife Kim-Harrisville, PA;
15 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren two Brothers:� Edward Grossman and his wife Linda-Boyers, PA

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sons, and 1 sister and 5 Brothers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday January 28, 2012 at Barkeyville United Methodist Church Barkeyville, PA with Pastor Mary Ann McConnell, the Pastor of the church, officiating.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 P.M. Friday January 27, 2012 and from 10:00 A.M. until time of service in Barkeyville United Methodist Church
