She was born on July 5, 1923 in Rimersburg, PA to Thomas� and Grace Kent Guntrum.
�
She had been employed in the Dietary Department of Grove City College.
�
She was a member of Wayside Community Church Findley Township Mercer. She was baptized at the age of 83.
�
She enjoyed doing embroidery, reading, dancing in her younger years,
and telling stories of her early �life and of �things that go bump in your life. Children always went to her "candy drawer"� when visiting.
�
She was married to Arthur Hardesty in February 1946, he died in May of 1978.
�
Surviving are a daughter Kathleen K. Nock and her husband Paul of Slippery Rock, PA, two granddaughters Lori Sue Shah and Amy K. Claycomb both of Grove City, PA, 5 great-grandchildren Derek Claycomb, Rebecca Claycomb, Katie Claycomb, Luke Shah and Caleb Shah.�Also surviving are two brothers John Guntrum of San Bernardino, CA and Charles E. Benn of Grove City, PA, and several nieces and nephews.
�
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, Lisa Ann Grim,
�her sisters Maude, Gertie, Sarah, Grace and �infant sister Lovine and two brothers Hugh and Sam.
�
Friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. until 12 Noon Thursday February 7, 2013 in Jamison Funeral Home 117 N. Main St.,Harrisville, PA.�Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon with the Rev.. G. Kenton Shaw and Rev. Lester Rowan both of the Wayside Community Church, Mercer, PA, officiating.
