James R. Stubbs

James R. Stubbs, Jr., 60, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2019.

He was born on April 23, 1959 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, to the late James R. and Erma L. (Fellner) Stubbs, Sr. James was a graduate of the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh.

He formerly worked for JOY.

James lived life to the fullest and tried to make the most of every day. He enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

James is survived by his brothers, Jeffrey (Tammy) Stubbs, of Clintonville, and John Stubbs, of Seneca; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew J. Stubbs.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.

There will be no visitation or service as per his wishes.
