Janet R. Greggs, 80, of Franklin passed away peacefully at 4:05 P.M. on Sunday March 11, 2018 in the Caring Place.

Born in Franklin on October 25, 1937 she was a daughter of the late Clair and Mary Delmasio Mattern.

Janet's life was her family and she loved and looked forward to spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she referred to as her "babies."

On June 6, 1974 she married James E. Greggs and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1996.

Surviving are two children, Georgia Eakin and her husband Mike of Franklin and Lisa Curran and her husband Pat of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Matthew Keith and his wife Bonnie of Franklin, Nathan Keith and his wife Justine of Franklin, Joshua Keith and his wife Kristen of Franklin, Natalie Miller and her husband Casey of Franklin, Timothy Skarupski of Erie, Conner Curran of Franklin and Nick Moore of Indiana.

Additionally surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Quinlynn Keith, Hayden Keith, Preston Keith, Braylyn Keith, Wren Keith, Carson Keith, Lilly Moore, and Lincoln Miller; two sisters, Elaine Bell and her husband Larry of Franklin and Linda Gardner of Clearwater, FL.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Donald Moore.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where a private memorial service will be held for the family and officiated by Rev. Justin Spurgin, Pastor of Messiah Baptist Church.

Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
