Janice L. Kline

September 3, 1949 — April 4, 2010

Janice Lee Kline, 60, of 1413 Buffalo St., Franklin, died at 2:26 p.m. Sunday, April 4, 2010 in UPMC Northwest at Seneca after a long, strenuous, dramatic and courageous battle with various respiratory diseases.
She was born in Hartford, Connecticut on September 3, 1949 a daughter of Richard C. and Doris M. Bjorkland Hall.
She graduated in 1967 from Franklin High School and attended several professional and technical schools in her careers of insurance, printing and the Red Cross. She was also the fiscal officer for Venango County CYS and Juvenile Probation.
Janice was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin until her health precluded her attendance, and she was a life member of the VFW.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and interacting with friends and family.
She married H. Buzby Kline on June 5, 1971; they enjoyed their life together while traveling the world. He survives along with two sisters, Karen Hall, San Diego, CA, and Dorothy Davis, Polk; three step daughters, Megan Kline, Alexis Kline and Kaitlyn Kline all of Franklin; her God children whom she dearly loved, Billy Cunningham, Joyce Grassmeyer, Beau Feltenberger and Stevie Grassmeyer. Janice also enjoyed the friendship and company of Jeff and Ellen Rettinger, Janine and Ron Ovitt, Esther and Bob Ludwig and Elaine and Gary Reed.
There will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be hosted by her very loved, trusted and eternal friend, Judy Harry at 1:00 P.M. April 24, 2010 at 5397 Georgetown Rd. Franklin. All are welcome to attend.
The family suggests that donations be made to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or a charity of ones choice.
