Jean B. Davis, 85, of Wiley Ave., Franklin died Saturday evening March 9, 2013 at UPMC Northwest.
A daughter of Mark and Margaret Shepard Frank she was born in Oil City on May 24, 1927. She attended Rocky Grove High School.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and had enjoyed family camping and fishing trips. In her later years she enjoyed the TV game shows and the Law & Order marathons. She was a Pittsburgh Pirate fan.
On December 15, 1945 she married Jack W. Davis. He died September 27, 1985.
Surviving are a son William E. Davis and his wife Donna of Franklin, two daughters Barbara Rugh and Kathy Davis both of Franklin, 8 grandchildren Jeff Davis and his wife Trudy, Kelly Feely, Terri Scott and her fiancé Randy Kopf, Angel Hufnagel, Jessica Green and Nikki Bauer and her husband Jim all of Franklin, Matt Davis and his wife Catherine of NC and James R. Rugh of Erie. 12 great-grandchildren Joshua Barger, Tyler Davis, Ian Scott, Darryk Feely, Jarred Feely, Lindsay Bowman, Nicholas Bowman, Marshall Hufnagel, Corbin Kelley, Norah Davis, Declan Davis and Seamus Davis. Her family is completed with nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law James S. Rugh, a sister Reta McDaniel and two grandsons John and Jason Parker.
Friends will be received in the Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 312 W. Park St. from 11 a.m. until noon Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at noon with the Rev. Barry Markle, pastor of the Community Church of God in Cooperstown officiating.
Interment will follow in the Lamey Cemetery.
