Jean F. Braatz

Jean F. Braatz, 83, formerly of 200 Nettles Lane, Franklin at 6:03 a.m. Sunday August 1, 2010 at UPMC Northwest went to be with her Lord.
Born June 13, 1927 in New Castle she was the daughter of James and June Green who preceded her in death.
She attended school in New Castle.
On February 13, 1948 she married Paul I. Braatz who died November 4, 1998.
She was a member of East Grove United Methodist Church in Franklin. She enjoyed her family, friends, her home on the river and knitting.
She is survived by her four children Barbara Smaltz and her husband Ray of Cranberry, Paula Flynn and her husband Bill of New Castle, Paul Braatz and his wife Dawn of Franklin and Rich Braatz and his wife Robin of Utica.
Also surviving are her grandchildren Derek and Sarah Smaltz; Angelica, Billy and Cornelius Flynn; Brandon and Austin Braatz and Kevin, Bryan, Brett and Kieanna Braatz.
She was the last surviving member of her family.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. Franklin from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
Private funeral services will be held at the Graham Cemetery with the Rev. Lea A. Guiney, pastor of East Grove United Methodist Church officiating.
