Joanne Tarr Latshaw

Joanne Tarr Latshaw, 85, of Victory Heights, Cranberry, passed away at 2:34 A.M. on Saturday April 14, 2018 at The Caring Place in Franklin.

Born September 29, 1932 on Georgetown Rd. in Frenchcreek Twp., she was a daughter of the late Herbert B. and Isabelle McClelland Tarr.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School and attended the Victory Heights United Brethren Church.

Upon graduation from high school, Joanne worked at Warner & Smith Trucking and then worked alongside her husband at his business, Latshaw Motors until retiring in 1985. She later worked with her daughter at her business Sonny's Auto Sales.

On March 24, 1958 she married Glenn Arden Latshaw and he survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Karen S. Latshaw Colvin and her husband Gail E. Colvin Jr. of Cranberry and a sister, Patricia Hays of Rocky Grove.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Anna M. Warner, Betty Walker; an infant sister; four brothers, Herbert Mike Tarr, Robert E. Tarr, J. Wilbur Tarr, Floyd E. Tarr; and an infant brother, Samuel.

There will be no viewing or service.

A private burial will be at Lupher Chapel Cemetery.
