John William Morrow

JohnJack� William Morrow, Sr., 76 formerly of 1220 Chestnut St., Franklin passed away at 4:55 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 in Sugarcreek Station. He was born on January 11, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Jesse Virginia Hogg Morrow. After high School he joined the US Marine Corps and served in Korea as a lineman. He worked for Bell Telephone Systems in Ohio and Southern Bell in Florida. He also was in charge of all ground communication at NASA for all the Apollo launches. He did carpentry work throughout the United States and had owned Morrows Tri county Sewer and Septic Service in Brookville. He will be fondly remembered by many as�Pa Pa Jack�. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Franklin Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Franklin War Veterans. He married his partner in life Lois Jean Chadwick and she preceded him in death on November 19, 2002. Surviving are three son, JohnJack� Morrow, Jr., Polk; Kevin Morrow and his wife Andrea, Stuart, FL; Scott Morrow and his wife Linda, Jupiter, FL; three grandchildren, Elyssa Marie Morrow, Stuart, FL; Timothy James Morrow, Jupiter, FL; Kristina Morrow, Franklin; a sister Marsha Boggs and her husband James, Columbiana, OH; two brothers, Kenneth Morrow and his wife Audrey, Mineral Ridge, OH; Ronald Morrow, Burghill, OH; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother Richard Morrow. Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Janz, pastor of the Christ United Methodist Church officiating. Also the Franklin V.E.T.S. Honor guard will conduct a Military Service at the funeral home. After visitation and services Mr. Morrow?s wishes were to be cremated and laid to rest with his wife in the Fern Hill Cemetery, Stuart, FL. The family suggests that donations be made to V.E.T.S. Honor Guard, 421 Ninth St., Franklin, PA 16323 or the Hospice Program at Sugarcreek Station, 351 Causeway Dr., Franklin, PA 16323.
