JoMarie Cramer

JoMarie Cramer, 57, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Born in Pittsburgh on April 30, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Roberta Boehm Friedel. 

JoMarie was a graduate of Franklin High School in 1985. She attended Gannon University and majored in accounting but found her true calling in the Theatre Department and went on to take numerous courses in theatre and costume design. 

JoMarie was a creative soul and used that talent to run an Art Gallery and Framing business in Erie, Meadville and in Franklin. She was a natural nurturer who loved to take care of people. She used that passion many years at the Northwest Commission as Loan Servicing Coordinator where she helped people achieve their dreams of starting and running their own business.

An avid baker, JoMarie enjoyed baking for her family and friends. She will be remembered for the Cream Horn Cookies she always made. 

On October 6, 2001, she married Bryan Cramer and he survives.

Also surviving is her son Casey Cramer and his wife Morgan of Meadville; a sister, Heidi Thompson and her husband Paul of Pittsburgh and their daughters; a brother, Scott Friedel and his wife Ashley and their children of New Hampshire.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Mary Kay Friedel. 

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday. 

Additional visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, with Maddison Bakker, certified celebrant, officiating.
