Judith L. Shawgo

Judith L. Shawgo, 61, of 5500 Georgetown Road, died at 12:13 P.M. Wednesday October 20, 2010 in the emergency room at UPMC Northwest.
Born in Franklin on May 11, 1949 she was a daughter of Bill and Florence Ritchey Dailey.
Mrs. Shawgo enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and also her niece Amanda Marsh. She was well known for preparing her holiday dinners and family cookouts. She also enjoyed crocheting and her beloved dog Abby.
She was married on June 10, 1967 to Thomas A. Shawgo who survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jeanie Vogan and her husband Doug of Sandy Lake, Thomas E.R. Shawgo of Franklin and Keith A. Shawgo and his wife Melanie Mason of Kennerdell; seven grandchildren Cody and Ben Vogan, Brandon and Brady Shawgo, Hailey, Izaak and Logan Shawgo; two brothers Bill Dailey Jr. and his wife Beverly, and Chuck Dailey; three sisters, Vicki Ritchie and her husband Jeff, Jodi Donze and her husband Dave, and Cathy Swartz and her husband Kenny. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and her dear friend Ethel Burch.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 P.M at the Huff Chapel Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin with the Rev. Bob Scheer Officiating.
