Larry E. Bevington, 83, of Maple Heights, Ohio passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born in Franklin on July 3, 1941 to the late Roy E. Bevington and Annabell Hummel.
Larry graduated from Franklin High School in 1959.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Larry was a former Police Officer in Franklin and owned the Commercial Restaurant. While living in Ohio, he worked for Cuyahoga County as a Budget Officer.
Larry enjoyed fishing and skeet shooting at the Isaac Waltons.
He is survived by his wife Carol D. (Fulmer) Bevington of 57 years, a brother Alan L. Bevington (Melita) of Camano Island, Washington, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Friday.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
