Lawrence "Larry" Creech, 78 of Harrisville, passed away at 1:00 pm on April 2, 2017 at Trinity Living Center in Grove City following an extended illness. Larry was born in Rural Kentucky on October 16, 1938 to the late Fulton and Alma Melton Creech, he was one of ten children.
Larry was a salesman at Foss Ford for many years when it was known as the largest Ford dealership in the Tri-state area. He loved to play and collect guitars and loved music. He also had a Harley Davidson Motorcycle that he loved. He was also a member of the B.P.O. Elks. He was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Larry is survived by his daughter Leane Staab and her husband Matthew of Harrisville, two grandchildren, Kara McDougall and her husband Terry of Harrisville and Matthew Staab, Jr. and his wife Brooke of Jackson Center, and two great-grandsons, Gavyn and Evyn McDougall both of Harrisville.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by eight siblings.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. 117 N. Main St, Harrisville, where family and friends are welcome from 1 pm to 2:30 pm on Saturday, April 8. A memorial service will take place at the funeral home at 2:30 pm with Father Glenn Crytzer, Chaplain for Three Rivers Hospice, officiating.
