Margaret M. Davison, formerly of Hillcrest Avenue, Polk, died July 18, 2013 at Lake Prince Woods Retirement Community, Suffolk, VA.
Margaret was born in Worth Township, PA on September 21, 1918.
She was the daughter of the late Vernon P. and Ida Mae (Jamison) Brooks.
She was married September 6, 1955 to James Everett Davison who preceded her in death.
Margaret retired from Polk Center where she worked in the laundry.
She was a former member of Polk Presbyterian Church.
Margaret enjoyed reading, caring for house plants, crossword puzzles, animals, and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter Diane Uliana, son-in-law Thomas Uliana, and grandsons Ian Uliana and Andrew Uliana, all of Chesapeake, Virginia; sister-in-laws Betty Brooks of Franklin, Nancy Brooks of Franklin, Jean Davison of Titusville, and Opal Maloney of Meadville as well as a cousin Florence Dahl and her husband Carl of Corry, and many very special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers Gaylord W. Brooks, Vernon ?Sparky? Brooks, and Wayne C. Brooks, niece Patricia Baldwin, and nephew Gregory Brooks.
On behalf of Margaret, her family would like to thank everyone who generously helped her during her retirement years, especially Jean Davison, her nieces and nephews and their families and her neighbors the Adam?s; and more recently Heartland Hospice and the nurses and staff at Lake Prince Woods.
A graveside service will be held at Noon on Thursday at Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Diane Whitman, Pastor of Polk Presbyterian Church, Officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice.
