Marie E. Adams Baker, 86 formerly of Utica passed away at 10:30 A.M. Saturday December 8, 2012 at Sugarcreek Station.
Born December 13, 1925 in Rocky Grove she was the daughter of the late Earl and Mable Hause Adams.
She was a 1944 graduate of Franklin High School.
After marriage and four children she went to work at Polk Center where she retired as a supervisor in 1986.
Marie enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing, camping with her grandchildren and researching the family history.
She is survived by three children; Michael Baker and his companion Darleen Mazon of Sandy Lake, Rebecca Seidel and her husband Keith of Cochranton and Timothy Baker Sr. and his wife Cindy of Cochranton; nine grandchildren, Michael Baker, Mark Baker, Greg Baker and his wife Windy, Stephanie Gregory and her husband Sean, Timothy Baker and his wife Amanda, Melissa Baker and her companion Keith and Christine Ongley and her husband Ryan, Katie and Natilee; 13 great- grandchildren, Clifton, Matthew, Hannah, Andrew, Taylor, Takoda, Branden, Becca, Gabriel, Katalina, Chloe, Kinley and Kurt; five brothers, Earl, Robert, Harold, Paul and Jack Adams; and three sisters Ruth Eakin, Linda Cochran, and Judy Bunce.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Freeman O. Baker Jr., a brother George ?Bill? Adams and a sister Betty Hanna and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends welcome Tuesday from 2:00 ? 4:00 & 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M. at Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Alan Adams, Senior Pastor at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, officiating.
Interment will be at Franklin Cemetery.
