Marjorie B. Mook

Marjorie B. Mook, 93 of 421 Edgewood Dr., Franklin, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
She was born in Parker on March 8, 1916 a daughter of Lester and Clara Dunkle Fleming. She graduated from Parker High School and attended Grove City College.
Mrs. Mook was part owner and had worked at the Findley and Fleming Insurance Company in Franklin. After this she worked as a bank teller at the Exchange Bank in Franklin and then Penn Bank, retiring from Penn Bank.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin, where she was church financial secretary for several years and served on numerous church committees.
She was also a member of the Franklin Order of the Eastern Star and was past Matron. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her two grandchildren.
She was married to Ralph E. Mook on September 16, 1939 and he died on February 9, 2004.
Surviving are a son William R. Mook and his wife Peggy, grandson, Nicholas T. Mook and granddaughter, Amy D. Mook all of Franklin; two nephews, Brian Mook and his wife Carol, Florida; James Fleming and his companion Linda Carter, Franklin; a niece Rita Porter, Waldorf, MD; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Mook, Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Dale Fleming.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Harry pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
