Marjorie Virginia Bell Kiester

Marjorie V. Kiester, age 95, formerly of Boyers, PA died June 16, 2016 at her daughter's home. Marjorie was born in Marion Township on Feb 13, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Zelda Brown Bell. She was a graduate of Slippery Rock State Teachers College in 1943 and taught at Amsterdam, Mercer County: Knox: then retired from Marion Elementary in Boyers in 1982. She was a charter member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Harrisville.

She married her husband William H. Kiester on May 25, 1946; he preceded her in death on Feb 9, 2009. Also preceding her were 2 brothers and a sister.

She is survived by David and his wife Daisy of Aurora CO, Bruce and his wife Barbara of New Brighton, PA, and Linda and her husband Charles Taylor of Rochester Township, PA as well 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.

Arrangements were entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. in Harrisville, PA.

A private burial was held in Prairie Cemetery.

Funeral service will be held at Calvary OPC on July 9, at 2 PM time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace OPC - Japan Mission.
