Martha S. Gealy, 82, of 1321 Buffalo Street, died at 11:05 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Sugar Creek Station.
A daughter of Clarence B. and Mary E. Yeager Gealy she was born in Franklin on February 8, 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of Franklin High School.
Marti had experience in interior decorating both in Pennsylvania and in Alabama.
She was of the protestant faith. She was a member of the Franklin VFW, where she enjoyed playing bingo with her many friends.
Surviving are her son, G. Craig Walbourn of Franklin; two grandchildren Shauna Murphy and her husband David and Brock Walbourn all of Phoenix; and a great grandchild Micah Murphy. Also surviving are a sister Barb McCullough of Vestavia Hills, AL and several nieces and nephews Rick Gealy ,Tim Gealy, and Debbie Catalde all of Erie, Tab McCullough of Lexington, SC, Ted McCullough of Vestavia Hills, AL, Jody McCullough of Madison, WI, David Gealy of Ft. Wayne, IN, Doug Gealy of St. Louis, MO and Vince Gealy of Chino Hills, CA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Suzie and three brothers Ted Gealy, Clarence ?Bus? Gealy and Richard Gealy.
