Michael E. Prevost

Michael E. Prevost, 59, of Rocky Grove, passed away on February 17, 2025.

The son of James Z. and Charlotte M. Drake Prevost, Michael was born on September 24, 1965 in Wheat Ridge, CO. 

He was a graduate of Oil City High School. Michael spent most of his career working in the lumber industry. 

Michael was an avid hunter and fisher. He loved attending concerts and always enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. 

Surviving is his mother, Charlotte Prevost, and brother, Scott Prevost and his wife Tammy, all of Oil City. Four nieces; Tanya, Sammy, Megan, and Angie. A special friend, Cindy, who is also left to cherish Michael’s memory. 

Michael was preceded in death by his father James Prevost and step-sister Kim Hathaway. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 West Park Street, Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. Friday.
