Myrna Dean

Myrna Dean, 79 of Harrisville, passed away at Transitions Healthcare Autumn Grove on April 17, 2017. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 13, 1937 to the late William and Lillian Stieger. Myrna was a graduate of Crafton High school and worked as an operator for Bell Telephone Company for many years. She was married to Richard William Dean, he preceded her in death in 1993.

Myrna loved to play bingo and had a great sense of humor and always had a way to make people laugh. She also was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs.

Myrna is survived by her daughter Barbara Gerstel and her husband Timothy of Evans City, a granddaughter Rebecca Lynn Gerstel of Evans City, and all of her friends at Autumn Grove.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. 117 N. Main St. Harrisville, where family and friends are welcome from 2 pm until the time of the service at 4 pm on Wednesday, April 19.

Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery.
