Paul F. "Frank" Smalley II, 98, of Slippery Rock died at 1:53 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Fair Winds Manor, Sarver.
A son of Paul F. and Olive I. Foreman Smalley, he was born in Allegheny County on August 6, 1916. He was a 1935 graduate of Harrisville High School.
A veteran of World War II, Frank saw service in the European Theatre with the U.S.Army.
He had been a machinist at Pullman Standard in Butler.
On October 12, 1940 he married Mildred M. Bott; she preceded him in death on November 1, 1975.
Surviving are three children, Judith A. Jamison of Grove City, Daniel L. Smalley Sr. and his wife Rosemary of Vienna, OH, and Mark A. Smalley of Slippery Rock; 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul F. Smalley III, a grandson, two sisters and a brother.
Friends will be received in the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday when services will be conducted by Rev. Jeff Canter, pastor of the Harrisville United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in the Barkeyville Cemetery.
