Peter Carter

Peter Carter, 82 of Polk Center, passed away at 7:13 PM Sunday June 7, 2015 at UMPC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

Born December 28, 1932 in Cleveland, OH he was a son of the late Clarence H. and Mary Griswold Carter.

Surviving is his brother John H. Carter and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Blake Carter.

Peter spent over 71 years at Polk Center where he participated in numerous activities and events.
Peter was loving and affectionate. He was loved by his Polk Center family. He was known for his beautiful eyes and pleasant personality. Peter got along well with his cottage mates and will be always remembered as someone who all were privileged to know. Peter enjoyed watching television, especially the Lawrence Welk Show!

A memorial service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at 2:45 P.M. Saturday at Polk Center in the Woodside Commons.
