Richard Carl Gervasoni

Richard Carl Gervasoni, 53 of Slippery Rock passed away at 6:39 P.M. on Wednesday August 14, 2013 at his residence. Born July 3, 1960 in New Bethlem, he was a son of the late Angelo and Janet Anderson Gervasoni. He was a foreman at Kennedy Diversified in Slippery Rock, where he has worked since 1994. Richard enjoyed camp fires and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a caring and giving man who would help anybody. On September 9, 1999 he married his best friend, the former Elaine Horn, and she survives. Also surviving are 10 children; Richard Gervasoni, Michelle Gervasoni, Tanya Shaw, Ryan Gervasoni, Markco Gervasoni and his wife Deana, April Whittling and her fianc� Chuck, Gregory White and his wife Megan, Karie Hernandez and her husband Tony, Amanda Lewis and her companion Jimmy, Hope Foote and her companion Rodger, 40 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is additionally survived by two brothers Samuel Gervasoni and Joseph Gervasoni and a sister Tina Gervasoni. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers; John Gervasoni, Angelo Gervasoni, Thomas Gervasoni, and Frederick Gervasoni. Family and friends welcome from 3:00 " 7:00 P.M. Monday at Jamison Funeral Home Inc. 117 N. Main St. Harrisville. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. William T. Gilligan of the Harrisville United Methodist Church, officiating.
