Robin A. Mitchell Wolbert, 59, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at home surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on March 16, 1965 in Oil City, Robin was the daughter of Richard A. and Ruth M. Eaton Mitchell.
Robin graduated from Cranberry High School in 1983 and later went to Clarion University Venango Campus with her sister, Ruth. After moving to the next chapter in her life, she worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for many years and retired as a Correctional Officer at SCI Forest.
On December 3, 1993, Robin married her husband Gregory S. Wolbert, and he survives. They shared nearly 31 years together.
Spending retirement as a full-time grandma was Robin's biggest joy. She also enjoyed thrift shopping, watching true crime shows, vacationing, and watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. Robin made many precious memories spending time with her family and friends. She truly lived life to the fullest and was the epitome of an optimist. Her family fondly remembers her as the person who saw the good in everybody.
Surviving Robin are her husband and three children; Tony Haupt of Oil City, Emily (John) Reiser of Franklin, and Devon (Shania) Wolbert of Franklin. Seven grandchildren; Jacob and Callen Haupt, Sage and Willow Haupt, DeLaney and Cohen Reiser, and Ryker Wolbert. Additionally surviving Robin is a sister, Ruth Ann Stephens, a half sister, Margaret Rose Sunderlin, parents in-law Ted and Anita Wolbert, brother in-law Tod Wolbert and his wife Donna, and sister in-law Sis Cook and her husband Mike. Many loved nieces and nephews are also left to cherish Robin's memory.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jeremy Haupt, her grandson Jayce Haupt, and her brother in-law, Art Capozzi.
Per Robin's wishes, there will be no services.

Robin's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all of the healthcare workers in and out of the hospital who helped take care of her during this time.
