Roger Cuckler

Roger J. Cuckler, 65, of Harrisville, died Tuesday August 18, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot, PA.

A son of the late Sidney Keith Cuckler and Lucille Parks Cuckler he was born in Canton, OH on March 30, 1950. He was a graduate of Blue Mountain Academy, in Hamburg, Pa and received his Bachelor's degree from Columbia Union College in 1972.

A love of science, math and history and a passion for sharing his interests influenced him to become a teacher. He later became an insurance agent.

On September 16, 1979 he married the former Heather Lycette. She died May 31, 2015.
Surviving are his son Justin R. Cuckler of Harrisville, his daughter Laura A. Elliott of new Castle and a grandson Hunter R. Elliott. Also surviving are his mother, Lucille of Mercer and two brothers Brett Cuckler of Oakmont and Greg Cuckler of Gibsonia.

In addition to his wife and father Roger was preceded in death by a sister Jane Eidle.

There will be no public visitation.

Interment will be made in Park Cemetery, Pine Grove, WV.
