Rose M. Ace

Rose M. Ace, 75, went to be home with the Lord at 12:55 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2016 from The Caring Place in Franklin.

A daughter of Thomas E. and Freda M. Beers Stanley she was born in Franklin on February 6, 1941.

Rose enjoyed crafts, sewing and crocheting and doing word search puzzles. She was thrilled to be baking cookies with her grandchildren.

On September 23, 1961 she married David H. Ace Sr. He died on November 22, 1977.

Surviving are three children; David H. Ace Jr. and his wife Patty of Franklin, Joyce M. Dunlap and her companion Ken Whiteman of Franklin , and Karen S. Winters and her husband Randy of Meadville; 6 grandchildren Nathaniel Flinchbaugh, Justin Flinchbaugh, Kayla Flinchbaugh, Jodi Winters, Johnny Winters and Randy Winters Jr.; 3 great-grandchildren Brooke, Owen and Evan Bennett; and her grand dog Dozer.

Also surviving are 2 sisters Rita L. Beatty of Franklin and Patricia Lawson and her husband Raymond of OH; 2 brothers Robert L. Stanley Sr of Erie and John W. Stanley and his wife Karen of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant, a brother Thomas E. Stanley and a sister Mary A. Exley.

Friends will be received in the Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3112 W. Park St., Franklin from 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 4 p.m. with Pastor Bill Wisniewski officiating.

Interment will be made in the Franklin Cemetery.
