Russell R. Krizon, 58, of Franklin, passed away at his home on Thursday January 10, 2019.
Born in Franklin on January 26, 1960 he was a son of Ann Lowry Krizon Adams and the late David Krizon.
Russ was a 1978 graduate of Franklin High School. He started working at the age of 13 for Martin Excavating and then began working at Lowry Auto Body at 16 and worked there for over 30 years as a truck driver and tow wrecker operator. His Last employment was with Sugarcreek Towing.
Russ was very proud to have pulled numerous trucks out of Frenchcreek prior to the runway truck ramp installation on the 15th street hill. Over the last 10 years Russ plowed snow throughout the area.
Surviving is his mother, Ann Adams of Franklin; a brother, Larry Krizon and his wife Lily of Cooperstown; a sister, Jackie Krizon and her fiancé Dave "Fuzz" Phillips of Franklin; two nephews, Aaron Krizon and David Krizon and his wife Emily and one great-nephew, Lucas Krizon.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, George Adams.
There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at the funeral home.
Interment will be made at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
