Ruth M. Errera, 88, of 187 Centertown Road, Harrisville died at 4:25 am Monday July 23, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and caring staff at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice Unit.
A daughter of Ralph and Edith Neely Weiss she was born in Boyers on April 29, 1924.� She was valedictorian of her Harrisville High School class.����
She was retired from the Office of Personnel Management.
She was a member of the Forestville United Methodist Church.� She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and animals.
On June 23, 1949 she married Darland Paul Errera.� He died on August 18, 2011.
Surviving are a daughter Gaye L. Mack and her husband Terry of Harrisville; son D. Paul Errera Jr. and his wife Ginger of Pulaski; her grandchildren Jill Errera, Stephanie Clem, Jason Rudzik and T. J. Mack; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Lois Daubenspeck of Boyers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons Nicholas Daubenspeck and Josh Rudzik, a brother Edward Weiss and a sister Katherine Zabroski.
Friends will be received in the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.� Funeral services will be held the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Barbara J. Moore, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in the Prairie Cemetery.
