Sarah B. Mccool

Sarah B. McCool, 78 of 918 Cooperstown Rd, Cooperstown, went to be with her Lord at 11:45 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 in the Titusville Hospital Emergency Room. She was born in Townville on February 6, 1931 a daughter of James Calvin and Nora Southworth Matteson. Mrs. McCool drove school bus for Prichard Bus Co. and then she was a driver for Baker Transportation Co. retiring from there. She was a member of the Mount Carmel Tabernacle in Dempseytown. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Clarence R. McCool, whom she married on November 1, 1949, five children Sarah Resinger and her fianc�� Richard Dick, Clintonville; Karen Adams and her husband Chris, Dempseytown; Ronald McCool and friend Liz, New Smyrna Beach, FL; Ruth Bickel and her husband John, Guys Mills; Jeff McCool and his fianc�� Brenda, Titusville; 15 grandchildren, Scott Resinger, Franklin; Bill Resinger and his wife Tawyna, Oil City; Mary Swisher and her fianc�� Arthur Nace, Oil City; Chad Resinger and his fianc�� Celeste Berlin, Oil City; Amanda Resinger, Jersey Shore; Chris Stevenson, Saegertown; Anthony Stevenson, North Dakota; Ronnie McCool, New Smyrna Beach, FL; Michele McCool, Meadville; Vicky Cauldill, New Smyrna Beach, FL; Chasity Bellin, Polk; Heather McCool, Oil City; Jeff McCool Jr., Titusville; Alexis McCool, Cooperstown; Yolanda McCool, Oil City; brother Arnold Davison, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Clarence McColl, Jr., a daughter Edith McCool, grandson Michael Stevenson, great-grandson Chad Resinger Jr., four brothers James Matteson, Stanley Matteson, George Matteson, Chet Davidson, a sister Iyla Swinson. Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the Mount Carmel Tabernacle in Dempseytown at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dana Lewis pastor of the Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery at Dempseytown.
