Stephen E. Skoch

Stephen E. Skoch, 73, of Jurjevic Drive, Slippery Rock, died at 1:05 a.m. Saturday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler. Born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 24, 1937, he was the son of the late John S. Skoch and the late Lillian M. (Leicher) Skoch. He was a painter and contractor in the family business. Mr. Skoch was a member of the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville. Surviving are a sister, Linda A,. Laslavic and her husband, Rudy, of Boyers; and two brothers, John J. Skoch of Grove City and Warren E. Skoch and his wife, Barbara, of Slippery Rock. SKOCH - Friends of Stephen E. Skoch, who died Saturday, May 7, 2011, may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Forestville, with the Rev. Kevin G. Poecking officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.
