Steven P. Aaron, 49, a resident of Snyder Memorial Health Care Center, Marienville, died at 12:15 a.m. Saturday October 31, 2009.
A son of Walter A. and Rita Weaver Aaron he was born in Franklin on June 26, 1960. He attended St. Patrick School and was a 1980 graduate of Franklin High School.
He had worked in the office of Greenville News in Greenville S.C. and latter as a courier at Furman University.
Steven had a deep knowledge of 70s music and Pittsburgh sports teams. He also enjoyed building model cars.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church.
Surviving are his mother Rita Aaron of Franklin; 6 sisters Mary Jane Craig and her husband John, Candy Miller and her husband Kris, Connie Cunningham and her husband Glenn, Betty Lingler and her husband Ed all of Franklin, Rita Leopard and her husband David of Venice FL and Kathy Lefon and her husband Bob of Saxonburg. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and one great niece.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Virginia Marie Aaron.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday. A vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Patrick Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Monsignor John J. Herbein as the celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
The family has suggested memorial donations be made to St. Patrick Church or St. Patrick Food pantry both at 949 Liberty St., Franklin PA 16323.
