Susan L. Coulter, 65, of Franklin, died at 7:12 a.m. Sunday at UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
A daughter of the late Donald and Elsie Sutherland Lewis, she was born in Franklin on December 21, 1948.
Susan was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School and the Oil City Business School
For almost 20 years she has served as secretary/treasurer of Sandycreek Township. Dedicated to her work she planned her vacations to minimize missing after working hour meetings. She was a member of the Council of Governments and the Venango County Planning Commission.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. The time she spent with her grandchildren and friends was treasured. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, the beach and rooting for her Steelers.
On October 12, 1968 she married Mark C. Coulter. He survives along with three children Alisa Blair and her husband Jason of Grove City, Thomas Coulter and his wife Nicole of Monroeville and Amy Coulter of Erie. Also surviving are six grandchildren Nick, Jacob, Abby, Jameson, Marley and Sam.
Friends will be received in the Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 W. Park St. Franklin from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Entombment will be made in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens after a private funeral service.
Memorial donations may be made to The Kirtland Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 108, Franklin, PA 16323 or a charity of one's choice.
